On the grounds
Court Philippe-Chatrier gained a retractable roof in 2020 and Suzanne-Lenglen added one for 2024, while many outer courts remain exposed. A rain delay can therefore produce different conditions across the grounds even when headline play continues.
Official details ↗Fan strategy
Roland-Garros combines its three largest courts with compact outer-court areas and the greenhouse-framed Simonne-Mathieu court. Check the current map and court access attached to your ticket; a short gap on the order of play is not always enough to change courts and queue again.
Official details ↗Quick answers
Court Philippe-Chatrier and Court Suzanne-Lenglen have retractable roofs. Outer-court play can still be delayed by rain.
It is in the 16th arrondissement at 2 Avenue Gordon-Bennett. Use the official grounds map as well as street directions because entry points and court routes matter.
