Qualification

Who can play the 2026 Next Gen ATP Finals?

The 2026 rulebook requires players to remain 20 or younger throughout the calendar year. The top seven eligible players in the Race to Next Gen Finals qualify, followed by one ATP-selected wild card.

Different scoring

How the Next Gen short-set format works

Eight players are divided into two groups of four. Matches are best of five short sets; a set is first to four games by two, with a tie-break at 3-all, and games use No-Ad scoring. The top two from each group reach the semi-finals.
