The four majors
The Grand Slam season consists of the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open. They span hard, clay and grass courts and are organised by their respective national associations rather than as ordinary ATP Tour 250, 500 or 1000 stops.

The 2026 points table awards 2,000 points to the champion, 1,300 to the finalist, 800 to a semi-finalist and 400 to a quarter-finalist. Men’s singles uses best-of-five-set matches, creating a different physical and scheduling rhythm from regular tour events.
