Season finale

Who plays the ATP Finals and how the format works

The season finale features eight qualified singles players and eight doubles teams. Each field is split into two groups of four; everyone plays three group matches, and the top two in each group advance to the semi-finals.

Maximum 1,500

Why not every ATP Finals champion earns 1,500 points

Points are earned match by match: 200 for each round-robin win, 400 for a semi-final win and 500 for winning the final. Only a champion who wins all three group matches and both knockout matches reaches 1,500.
